Looks like the plan hatched by the State Government few months back has been put to practise with the arrest of the so called "Maoist Courier" and now the PUCL Leader Mr.Sen....
In the State Assembly recently Brijmohan Agrawal who is not even the Home Minister but considers himself as the the Chief Minister had accused the likes of PUCL,Ekta Parishad and other Human Rights Organisations at the top of his voices for being involved in Naxal-Activities.For Mr.Agrawal a migratory from Rajasthan anybody who works for the Tribals or the Forests of Chhattisgarh is looked upon as a Naxalite.This also is the mentallity of the Business Class of C.G. and why not?Because if the peasants and the tribals become united and strong due to the efforts of certain NGOs and Human Rights Organisation then how will the Business Class exploit the naiveness of the Indigenous Chhattisgarhi people?
Agrawal is just one example but all the top Brass of the present State Government have similar mentallity.All the tribal lands are being purchased by the relatives of these ministers even though constitution of India prevents it.The nexus between the timber mafia,politicians and corrupt officials is making Chhattisgarh deprive of its greenary either in the name of Road-widening or Jatropa Plantation.
Is their a single person in the State Government who feels pain every time a huge tree maybe more than 100 years old is Chopped in the name of development??Why is the future generations being denied of this heritage?
Why am I connecting the Arrests with the Tribals,the Peasants,the Forest etc even I don't know...may be I am going crazy I guess.....
