I had a first hand experience of the above incident...Had gone to Dantewara to pay my respect to our ancestral deity "Maa Danteshwari" but reaching the fake encounter spot within 30 mins was a shocking experience...
There was no sign that the killed villagers were carrying any weapons or that they fired at the Police...there only fault was that at the sight of the Police and the SPOs arriving at the hut they just started running out of the fear of the dreaded SPOs....
What was shocking was that the people around at the spot were least bothered about the tribals killed...journalist,police,local "Maal Gujars" etc all were having a good laugh... after all tribals were killed and not some one from their community...
One of Mahendra Karma's son who came to see the dead villagers was seen making plans with few of his friends for a party in the evening...
Is the life of Adivasis in Bastar of no concern to anyone in this world?
