What else can I say more?Atlast one paper has covered the damage to the forest of Bastar in the name of development.But it says 30 kms of road has been cleared of more than 100 years old mango tree which is not true.More than 200 kms stretch from Bhanupratapur-Antagarh-Narainpur-Kondagaon has been damaged.And this has been going on for more than 6 months.Chhattisgarh Government claims that Bastar is highly naxal affected.If that is true then how come naxal didn't do anything to this road project?Its quite obvious that State government blows naxal problem out of proportion to get extra funds from the center.
What is also very surprising is that even during "Naxal Bundh" these road contractors work freely in the day and night without the fear of the naxals.Do I have to say more?
