Dear Sir,
As you must have already heard that the Dalits are not allowed in some temples in Orissa and even after their entry they were humiliated by the Non-Dalits by cleaning the TEMPLES.
The question which I would like to put to you is if the Dalits are not welcomed in certain Temples by the “Agadis”(Non-Dalits) then the Dalits and Tribals should also not allow the “Agadis” in their Temples.
I am from Chhattisgarh and the most popular Temples are Maa Danteswari Temple in Dantewada and Maa Bumbleshwari Temple in Dongargarh and both are recognized as Tribal Goddess .
If the “Agadis” can humiliate Dalits/Tribals by making them look like untouchables then why not ban them from entering these Tribal temples?
If you look back at the history of Orissa and chhattisgarh all the Tribal Temples have Brahmin Pujaris.Is it just to control the Temples?If these “Agadis” can worship Tribal/Dalit Goddess then why not allow the real people worship in these Temples.
